FBCD Men’s Ministry

Equipping men to know God’s Word, strengthen one another, lead with integrity, and live out their faith at home, in the church, and throughout the community.

Men Growing Together in Christ

Grounded in the Word. Strengthened Through Brotherhood.

The FBCD Men’s Ministry creates a place where men can open the Bible, ask honest questions, share wisdom, and encourage one another toward faithful Christian living. Through fellowship and focused teaching, men are challenged to grow as disciples, husbands, fathers, brothers, servants, and leaders.

“As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” — Proverbs 27:17
How We Gather

Teaching, Fellowship, and Faith in Action

Our gatherings move beyond conversation alone and help men understand, apply, and stand firmly upon biblical truth.

Our Foundation

We Begin with Scripture

God’s Word is at the center of the ministry. Every lesson, discussion, and fellowship is intended to deepen biblical understanding and help men apply truth to real decisions, responsibilities, relationships, and challenges.

Quarterly Rhythm

Focused Men’s Classes

During the first month of each quarter, the men gather for a concentrated class built around a clear biblical subject. Lessons are taught through Scripture, PowerPoint presentations, class materials, questions, and practical application.

Shared Growth

Men Teaching Men

The ministry makes room for men to teach, contribute biblical insight, share experience, and learn from one another. This shared responsibility develops leadership and reminds every man that he has something valuable to contribute.

Brotherhood

Fellowship That Strengthens

Gathering around U-shaped tables encourages participation rather than spectatorship. Men listen, speak openly, build relationships, support one another, and leave better equipped to walk faithfully with Christ.

Beyond the Classroom

Faith Put into Practice

Biblical growth shapes how a man serves. Men are encouraged to support the church, care for their families, strengthen other men, participate in outreach, and demonstrate the character of Christ in everyday life.

Recent Teaching Emphasis

The Tests of a True Walk

Examining the evidence of saving faith through 1 John and the biblical call to examine ourselves. A true Christian does not merely claim Christ; a true Christian is being examined, exposed, corrected, and transformed by Christ.

1 John 2:7–17 • 2 Corinthians 13:5
